William is Owner/Director of Monks Green Farm and a Director of North Herts Farmers.
William also offers a planning consultancy service which was established following the successful diversification projects at the farm.
James is a partner in the agricultural side of William Ashley & Partners and after completing agricultural college, he established himself as a farm manager on a large Hertfordshire based farm. James also runs the seasonal shoot at the farm and is responsible for our wild meadows, wild bird covers and ponds.
Emma focusses on the wellbeing of the staff and has developed a wellbeing policy since completing her qualification.
Terence is the farm’s Site Manager and manages the day to day operations. He has worked here for some 15 years and lives on site so he’s on hand. Terence oversees all from deliveries, to maintenance, to PAT testing, to contractors.
We have three Daves working on site, our first Dave is Dave A who works alongside Terrance and has been with us for some 40 years. Dave takes on much of our maintenance work and keeps the residential areas tidy be it grass cutting to fork lift driver.
Our second Dave is Dave C who is our plumbing, heating and electrical engineer. He’s got 40 years experience under his belt and helps with both our residential and commercial properties aswell as keeping an eye on the farm buildings.
Our third Dave is Dave S who is responsible for hedge cutting which is seasonal work, weather dependant and can be a bit tricky at times but he nevertheless manages to make our hedges look perfect.
Paul, Lee & Ricky manage our slightly larger maintenance and repairs jobs around the farm and site from fixing tiles on roofs to fence work to pipe laying.
Steve helps us out with all our internal decorations and painting of our residential lettings. Steve makes everything look new again for incoming tenants, he’s our Mr fix it.
Lenny is our game keeper who prepares everything for the Brickendon Liberty Shoot. Lenny can be found out in the fields all hours of the day and night looking after the birds.
